Paris, 1960: Esther Perez eagerly awaits the birth of her sixth child, but she is deeply shocked when her son Roland is born with a foot deformity. Defying the doctors' proclamation that he will never be able to walk properly, she clings to her belief in a wonderful future for her child and does everything in her power to force a miracle: whether through classic orthopedics, a visit to a healer, or faith in the healing power of music.
