On March 14, it is π Day and International Day of Mathematics. And how better to celebrate this day than with a mathematical cabaret evening? For the second time, mathematics professor and piano cabaret artist Timm Sigg is coming to the Kleinkunstbühne Neuwied.

Timm Sigg, the mathematics professor from Stuttgart, tours Germany as a musical cabaret artist with his now three solo programs. What began as a fixed idea in 2014 has developed into a cabaret institution that is unparalleled.

He sings at the piano passionately about numbers, just as others do about their love relationships. With self-deprecation, empathy, and witty wordplay, he sheds light on the dilemmas of relationships between nerds and non-nerds. Thus, evenings full of intelligent word games, quirky logic, and melodic thought-provoking ideas unfold.

Self-proclaimed math haters get just as much out of it as the so-called super nerds. The audience celebrates his subtle texts, his virtuosic piano playing, in short, this clever guy!

In 2025, Prof. Timm Sigg was awarded the Kleinkunstpreis Baden Württemberg.
