The need is great. The education system lacks new talent. The civil servant status, six weeks of summer vacation, or the prospect of attractive special conditions at the state winery in Meersburg no longer seem sufficient to entice potential teaching recruits from Generation Z.

But does it have to be uncontrolled lateral entry right away? That needs to be discussed. As always, with high musicality, quite humorously, and now experienced, the two veterans explore the depths and shallows of the profession and do everything possible to attract new forces for our students.

Because we know: what lateral entrants mainly need is a stable direction. And Munz and Ruppenthal have, as always, a few lateral strikes... pardon: proposals at the ready.
