Johannisberger Riesling Loop:

A hike through Johannisberger wine regions, the Elsterbach valley, and the history of the discovery of late harvest

The starting point of the hike is the late harvest rider monument in the courtyard of Johannisberg Castle. After a short stretch through Johannisberg, you will hike through well-known Johannisberger wine regions, accompanied by views of Hansenberg Castle and the picturesque Elsterbach valley.

Along the idyllic mill hiking trail, it goes into the Johannisberger Grund, from where a short rewarding ascent leads back to Johannisberg Castle. Along the way, you will taste three selected wines exactly where the vines have grown - it is hardly possible to experience the Rheingau more authentically.
