The vineyards of Kloster Eberbach extend over nearly 230 hectares in the Rheingau and the Hessian Bergstraße. On this terroir, the vines for our wines and sparkling wines grow - sustainably and gently produced, always with the claim of the best quality at an international level.

The history of Kloster Eberbach Winery dates back as far as the history of the cultural monument itself: Even for the French monks who settled in the Rheingau at the beginning of the 12th century, viticulture was one of the essential activities. What was initially intended for personal use soon developed into a coveted commodity that secured the future and prosperity of the monastery.

Today, this heritage is carried on by our 65 dedicated employees.

Despite its turbulent history over the past 900 years, the winery has lost none of its commitment to quality. Thus, we rely on the best vineyard locations, nature-friendly viticulture, gentle pressing, careful aging, and the identification of our employees with the winery.
