Workshop "Colorful Castings" at Sayner Hütte

How does historical iron casting work? The workshop "Colorful Castings" provides a detailed answer to this question on Wednesday, July 23, from 3 to 5 pm on the balcony of the Krupp Hall.

The museum education team makes the casting process tangible for children and teenagers aged six to twelve with modern sugar casts. Here, the curious casters can create their own colorful sugar sculptures. This allows participants to experience a piece of industrial culture.

Children up to nine years old can participate accompanied by an adult, and from ten years old, participation is possible on their own. The event lasts about two hours and can be booked in the event calendar at www.saynerhuette.org.
