Hike: Wetterschacht, Forest and World Art
To connect several worlds, the Lahnstein Tourist Information and this year's "Forestival" offer a special hike. This will take place on three dates, starting from the Mining Museum Friedrichsegen through the former mining valley and the Lahnstein Healing Forest to the art and nature festival in Süßgrund.
Since the route is 11 kilometers long with 300 meters of elevation gain, it is definitely not a walk in the park; it is aimed at experienced hikers! Registration at Touristinfo Lahnstein 02621914171
The hike lasts about 4 to 5 hours with breaks – and starts at the Mining Museum in Friedrichsegen (Ahlerhof in 56112 Lahnstein, across from the Technical Relief Organization grounds). Attention: There are only a few parking spaces available!
The tour ends at the bar of the "Forestival" – and costs (including drink and museum admission) 14,- Euro.
