Schlosstheater und Kijub „Furzipups der Knatterdrache“

Theater is much more than just entertainment. It brings fictional or realistic worlds to life on stage and has the ability to completely captivate the audience. When the World Day of Children's and Youth Theatre is celebrated on Friday, March 20, the Landesbühne Rheinland-Pfalz will entice with two performances at the Neuwied Castle Theatre.
For children aged 4 and up, the Landesbühne presents the grand dragon drama "Furzipups the Roaring Dragon" in the large hall, based on the children's books of the same name by Kai Lüftner and Wiebke Rauers, published by the Münster-based Coppenrath Verlag.
Young people aged 14 and older can look forward to the performance of "Faust 1+2+3" in the Young Castle Theatre (JUSCH) – an adaptation directed by Felix Krakau, based on the work of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, published by the Hamburg-based Rowohlt Theater Verlag. The young audience can expect a furious trip through the depths of the emotions and intellect of authors Goethe and Krakau.
Both performances will run in parallel and start at 9:30 AM – the entry fee is six euros.
The World Day of Children's and Youth Theatre is once again being realized as a joint project of the Neuwied Castle Theatre and the municipal Children's and Youth Office (KiJub). The aim of the cooperation is to provide young people with access to high-quality theatre and thus to promote cultural education in the levee town.
