Schnauferl & Pre-War Vehicles Guest at the Rheingau Classic Car Picnic

On June 7, 2026, starting at 10:30 AM, we will open a very special chapter in automotive history at the Rheingau Classic Car Picnic: Schnauferl and Pre-War Vehicles. The focus will be on the early classics – vehicles from a time when driving was still a real craft and every outing sounded like an adventure.

Look forward to the typical details of this era: Wood-spoked wheels, running boards, large headlights, plenty of visible mechanics, and of course the often distinctive front – the "snout," which gave the "Schnauferl" its name. You can expect to see charming, open touring cars and delicate roadsters as well as stylish pre-war limousines, cabriolets, or representative classics with long hoods and elegant lines.

We are very curious to see what treasures you will show us – such as pre-war vehicles from Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Adler, Horch or even international icons like Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia or Bugatti. As always: In addition to the vehicles on the "Spotlight" special area, all brands and types of cars, historic scooters, and motorcycles are warmly welcomed.
