Opel Classic "The Hip Swing from Rüsselsheim"

On August 16, 2026 from 10:30 AM, the Rheingau Oldtimer Picnic is all about the unmistakable Opel charm – under the motto "The Hip Swing from Rüsselsheim am Main". This refers to the typical design language that makes Opel classics so special: flowing lines, elegant side contours, plenty of chrome, and just the right amount of "swing" that you recognize immediately – depending on the year of manufacture, sometimes stylishly representative, sometimes sporty and dynamic.

On this day, we will also welcome the Alt-Opel IG and Opel Classic. They will bring selected vehicles from the Opel Classic collection – a real highlight for all enthusiasts, as you'll not only encounter well-known icons but often also rare variants and special originals that you don't get to experience up close every day. A small time travel through several decades of Opel history – from the elegant classic to the sporty favorite.

As always, in addition to the vehicles on the “Spotlight” special area, all brands and types of cars, historical scooters, and motorcycles are warmly welcome.
