The Roentgen Museum Neuwied presents this summer the special exhibition "Just Dreamed" by the Bonn regional group of GEDOK e.V.
The exhibition will be opened on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 3 p.m. by District Administrator Achim Hallerbach and Museum Director Jennifer Stein.
GEDOK e.V. is the oldest and largest network of professional female artists in Europe. Female artists from various fields and volunteer art promoters work together for the visibility of women in art and for equal opportunities in the cultural sector.

For the exhibition, a total of 43 works were selected from more than 60 submitted pieces. The selection was made by a professional jury led by Waltraud Pritz, head of the Visual Arts group of GEDOK Bonn.
The exhibition unites a wide range of artistic expressions – from painting, photography, and sculpture to installation art and AI-supported video art.

Despite their diversity, the displayed works share a common theme: the fascinating and multifaceted world of dreaming. The artists approach this motif in very different ways, opening up new perspectives on dreams, memories, fantasy, and the subconscious for the visitors.
The opening will be musically accompanied by Klaus Mäurer on the flamenco guitar. In good weather, the inauguration will take place in the atmospheric museum garden of the Roentgen Museum.
