Fola Dada, the recipient of the German Jazz Award 2022, presents with her new album "Sisters & Brothers" a unique mix of styles from jazz to house, which she refers to as Urban-Earth-Jazz. Her music is energetic yet tender, musically versatile, and full of charm and class. With wit and depth, she sings with her adaptable voice stories about life, love, loneliness, and connection. With the program "Sisters & Brothers," she presents a touching collection of her own compositions, accompanied by a band consisting of Ulf Kleiner on Fender Rhodes, Tommy Baldu on drums, and Joscha Glass on bass. Featured as a guest is the ever-present Joo Kraus on trumpet, sounds, and voice.
