Irish folk rock

The band BEN BULBEN has been on stage for 34 years with a changing line-up and a great love of playing. The seven musicians combine traditional with modern rhythms and musical styles. Starting out with traditional Irish folk, BEN BULBEN has evolved over the years into a band that gives many of its arrangements a full rock sound. Echoes of rock classics and film soundtracks are often incorporated into the arrangements of the songs and provide the typical BEN BULBEN sound. Each concert of the 7 musicians Christoph Anthony (fiddle, guitar), Claudia Anthony (flute, whistle, vocals); Myra Anthony (vocals, flute, whistle) Stefan Boenigk (bass); Bernd Lausberg (keyboards); Thomas Riegler (drums) and Joe Thar (vocals, guitars) to create an experience in which both soulful ballads - with Myra Anthony's carrying voice making every listener dream - and the fastest, variously arranged reels and jigs create a great atmosphere.
