Anaïd Rahim is an editor and journalist who has studied Romance languages as well as general and comparative literature. She is also a certified media designer.

The focus is on Chief Detective Thomas Krüger, who encounters cases among the vineyards, the Rhine, and various locations, where the abysses are often closer than one thinks. The stories revolve around people, their motives, and the things that remain hidden behind the apparent idyll.

The author, who lives in the Rheingau, knows the region where her stories take place. The Rheingau is not only a setting but becomes a main character in the stories.
