Free Film Screenings Under the Motto "We are on fire for Eltville"

For film fans, a special offer kicks off in late summer in Eltville: Funded by the city's participation program "Ab in die Mitte," the city, in collaboration with the Philipp-Kraft-Stiftung, is presenting a film series under the motto "We are on fire for Eltville." A selection of films related to the theme "burning for something" will be shown.

The series begins with the remake of the film classic "Fahrenheit 451." This dystopian social film will be screened on Wednesday, August 26, at the Eltville media library at the Platz der Deutschen Einheit. The film starts at 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday, September 16, the film series will take place at the Eltville fire station: In cooperation with the youth fire brigade, the exciting fire department documentary "Fire and Flame" will be presented at 6:30 p.m. at the Eltville fire station (Erbacher Straße 11, 65343 Eltville).

The comedy "Tel Aviv on Fire" is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30. The award-winning film will be shown at the Eltville media library at 7:30 p.m. Also highly awarded is the French social and historical film "Portrait of a Lady on Fire," which will enchant audiences at the media library on Wednesday, October 14, at 7:30 p.m.

For the younger audience, there is a special offering on Saturday, September 12: The movie based on the popular children's series "Fireman Sam" will be screened at 3:00 p.m. in the media library.

All film screenings are free and do not require reservations. The youth fire brigade appreciates any voluntary contributions to the donation box. Entrance is half an hour before the film starts. Drinks and snacks can be purchased on-site.
