On Sunday, October 4th, jazz trumpeter and singer Joo Kraus will present his new album "No Excuse" at the Sayner Hütte.

The concert concludes the festival "TROMPETE Total 2025," which takes place from October 2nd to 5th at the Landesmusikakademie in Engers. It offers workshops, courses, and a large exhibition with intensive testing and consulting opportunities around the trumpet. Additionally, there is intensive ensemble work with all participants and, of course, concerts, with the "Trumpeter Party" at the Sayner Hütte representing the traditional highlight. Here, participants and trumpet enthusiasts come together to celebrate their favorite instrument.

The Ulm trumpeter Joo Kraus has undoubtedly made music history as the star of the evening and has earned a legendary reputation worldwide in the 1990s with the Acid Jazz duo Tab Two. He embodies a vibrant dynamism across such diverse fields as Krautrock, jazz, hip hop, Latin, ambient, and singer/songwriter. The artist's great passion is to transcend genre boundaries and dissolve stylistic labels.

 For his new album "No Excuse," there was only one question that mattered: "What do I have to say today?" Joo Kraus, along with Jo Ambros (guitar), Sebastian Schuster (bass), and Martin Grundwald (drums), will answer this question in a resonant manner for the audience at Sayner Hütte.
