Short tour of Sayner Hütte & guided hike

Guided hike "In the View Park Sayn of the 1920s" with museum director Barbara Friedhofen, following in the footsteps of hut director Oskar Kroeber, the industrial family Krupp, Limes researcher Georg Loeschke, and the Sayn Beautification Association in the Sayn Cultural Park. We start with a short tour of the Sayner Hütte and then hike past the "Krupp's Rest Home," Sayn Castle, Leonilla-Stift, through the forest to Oskar-Höhe, down into Brextal, and then steeply back up to Loeschke-Ruhe and the Roman Tower. The return path goes over Kaiser-Wilhelm-Höhe, past Sayn Castle back to the Sayner Hütte parking lot. There is an opportunity to stop for refreshments at the forest inn Meisenhof.
