Description of the tour: Participants will learn a lot of interesting facts about the history of flooding in Neuwied and the necessity of the dike, about water construction on the Rhine, and the functioning of the pumping stations. A visit to the Dike Information Center is followed by a walk along the dike wall and a stretch along the earthen dike.
