The Bundesgartenschau Oberes Mittelrheintal 2029 gGmbH invites: On April 25, 2026, and April 26, 2026, to the BUGA hiking event in Lorch on the Rhine. Between the Rhine and Wisper, visitors can expect a diverse program – whether families, leisure hikers, or experienced nature lovers: There is something for everyone!
On Saturday, hiking expert Wolfgang Blum will lead a special tour through the landscape around Lorch. In cooperation with the German Sports Association e.V. (DVV), routes with varying degrees of difficulty will be available on Sunday. The hike through the impressive landscape around Lorch will be combined with a ferry ride to Niederheimbach.
The weekend will be rounded off by the culinary weeks in Lorch, featuring music, wine tastings, regional specialties, and activities for young and old.
Parking is available along the Rhine riverside road.
