Located directly on the Rhine, you can also bring your own picnic basket and enjoy the wine sold there!

Under large trees, you will find one of the landmarks of Hattenheim, the barrels, for over 40 years.
Only a large meadow separates you from the picturesque riverside. Rustic seating invites you to linger, and if the weather isn't cooperating, you can comfortably fit up to 10 people in two barrels. Due to the unique location, the Hattenheim barrels are among the most beautiful wine tasting spots in Germany.
Bring your own picnic or enjoy freshly baked pretzels and other snacks on-site. At the Kaufmann winery, you can pre-order a corresponding picnic that will be prepared by the Restaurant Jonas in Kiedrich. The wine and other beverages will be served to you by one of the 13 Hattenheim winemakers who take turns operating the wine stand weekly from early April to October.
In nice weather, the wine stand is also open on weekends between October and March.
