For three generations, we have been known for the high quality of our wines, sparkling wines, and other products.

The Martin winery was founded in the late 1960s by Josef and Else Martin as a resettlement farm in the vineyards of the Rheingau municipality of Erbach.

In the early 1980s, son Günter and his wife Jutta, both master winemakers, took over the winery and expanded it further over time.

Since the beginning of 2021, Michael, who has been employed at the Martin winery as a state-certified viticulture technician since 2006, has taken over the management of the family business in the third generation. He is supported by his wife Daniela, who works full-time at Bärenherz in Wiesbaden. Additionally, Michael's sister Tanja is working in the office.

Of course, Jutta and Günter are still actively involved in the business – Jutta, for example, in the vinotheque and the office, and Günter in logistics and shipping as well as in handwork in the vineyard. In decisions regarding wine development, Michael's innovations and Günter's experience continue to go hand in hand.
