The steep slope winery in the Rheingau!
In the heart of the Middle Rhine Valley, we are the 4th generation to produce exclusive Rheingau wines with class and a down-to-earth attitude. We have been cultivating our family-run winery on 4.5 hectares of the steepest vineyards in beautiful Lorch am Rhein for almost 100 years. We stand for authentic Rheingau wines and proudly bear responsibility for honest products and sustainable agriculture.

You will not find any harvesters in our vineyards. We harvest exclusively by hand and rely on the experience of 4 generations in viticulture. We do not irrigate the vines artificially and stand for fruit-emphasised nuances, which always arise when we give the grapes time and independence to mature.

Our wines are matured in our natural stone cellar. These outstanding climatic conditions give the wine a unique ripeness and harmony that carry and support the wonderful flavour experience. We do not produce any cuvées, instead focussing on pure enjoyment and genuine craftsmanship.
