The winery Graf von Kanitz is located in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Upper Middle Rhine Valley" in Lorch on the Rhine, between Loreley and Rüdesheim.

It has an impressive history that dates back to the 13th century. Originally founded by the Lords of Staffel, it later came into the possession of the von Stein family. In 1926, Carl-Albrecht Graf von Kanitz inherited the winery, which has borne his name ever since. In the same year, it joined the Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter (VDP). Under the leadership of cellar master Marc Leitis, we aim to create terroir wines. Through foresighted actions and careful intervention, we preserve the fine distinctions of our excellent locations and grape varieties.
