Pützgasse
Pützgasse 6, 53572 Unkel
One of the most picturesque sections of the Romantic Rhine.
The Pütz, a Rhineland term for fountain, gave this street its name, as the Pütz dominates the street right at the entrance to the alley. Consequently, the closely standing half-timbered houses create the cozy atmosphere of this alley. The houses are modest in size and were built in the 17th and 18th centuries, lovingly maintained and excellently preserved.
