Since its opening in 1998, the Municipal Stage Lahnstein has offered a diverse program. The Nassau-Sporkenburger Courtyard, dating back to the 14th century, has quickly become one of the cultural centers in the region after being lovingly restored and modernized from 1992 to 1997. Own productions in children's, youth, and adult theater, workshop works, and folk theater pieces are at the center of the theater's work. Cabaret evenings, smaller concerts, and literary readings complement the schedule. In the foyer of the theater, there are annually changing exhibitions of local and regional artists on display.
