Hildegard Forum
Rochusberg 1, 55411 Bingen
The Hildegard Forum of the Kreuzschwestern is an establishment of the St. Hildegardishaus gGmbh Youth and Disability Assistance based in Düngenheim. Since its transfer to the gGmbH in January 2004, the Hildegard Forum has been operated as an integration company. Thus, the sponsor sees the Hildegard Forum not only as a place of encounter with the healing messages of Saint Hildegard of Bingen, but also as a location where the fundamental mission of the Kreuzschwestern, "to make God's salvific actions visible to humanity," is materialized, by providing a current contribution to support disadvantaged individuals in the job market in a modern way and thus forging new "paths to people."
Surrounding the central dome building, which is used as a guest room and can also be rented for conferences, seminars, and celebrations, with a capacity of up to 130 people, are a divisible lecture room, an audio-visual room, and a space for changing exhibitions. The dome building opens onto a large terrace, adjacent to which is the Kreuzschwestern's berry garden.
A hotel is attached.

The Hildegard Medicinal Herb Garden on the Rochusberg presents approximately 80 medicinal plants and trees, including a newly established fruit garden, whose healing properties are detailed by Hildegard in her book "Physica." From her descriptions, it is evident that the medicinal plants do not just work by themselves. They point to their Creator and are graciously given to humanity for its healing. With few exceptions, the medicinal herb garden includes non-toxic or mildly toxic plants from Central Europe and the Mediterranean region. Red chard, Madonna lily, parsnip, marian leaf, aloe, and much more await you here.
