Günderrodehaus - Heimat 3
Siebenjungfrauenblick, 55430 Oberwesel
The house offers one of the most beautiful views above Oberwesel.
In 2005, the "Günderrodehaus" was handed over after the filming of the six-part series "Heimat 3" by director Edgar Reitz for its use as a film museum and cultural meeting place. The over 200-year-old house comes from Seibersbach in the Hunsrück and was dismantled by restorer Uwe Rumeney (www.arsligni.de) and initially rebuilt for the film as a dilapidated half-timbered ruin above Oberwesel, and restored throughout the course of the film's plot.
