The gardens of the Rommersdorf Abbey in the Neuwied district of Heimbach-Weis offer an impressive variety. This includes a newly created baroque French garden, an English garden, and a herb garden from the former monastery apothecary in the cloister of the abbey. The gardens were created following the landscape park fashion that became popular in the 19th century. They combine a colorful mix of different eras and styles.
