Adventure museum RömerWelt at the beginning of the UNESCO World Heritage Site

Limes For 10 years an attractive family excursion destination along well-known hiking trails in Rheinbrohl

The adventure museum on the topic of the Limes is located in Arienheller, a district of Rheinbrohl, and introduces the comprehensive topic of the Romans and the Limes in an interactive and playful way. This former border between the Roman Empire and free Germania had its beginning in Rheinbrohl. In the museum and in the outside area this Roman history becomes alive.

Experience with all senses is the motto! So touching and trying things out is allowed here. Whether you want to find out how heavy a chain mail is or what Roman crafts or a soldier's room (Contubernium) looked like back then, what was traded and what everyday life was like at the Limes - discovering this for yourself is possible in the RömerWelt.

A varied program of events with activities for different target groups completes the offer of the RömerWelt.

Opening hours:

Mid-March to mid-November.

Tuesday-Sunday and holidays 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

During the winter break we open on request for groups, school classes and children's birthday parties.
