The RHEINSTEIG book and map – navigating the Rheinsteig hiking path. Europe’s new long-distance hiking path between Bonn and Wiesbaden is launching the first hiking guidebook to feature GPS navigation. As well as the 180 page book containing detailed descriptions of 20 daily stages including route maps and information about heights, lengths and hiking time required, all tours are now available for download onto navigational devices and as an overlay for electronic PC map programmes (www.rheinsteiger.de). The download is free of charge for purchasers of the book. Available in addition: the official Rheinsteig 1:50.000 hiking map.
